Comfortably installed behind the large bay windows of the living room, you will appreciate this space of relaxation from now on yours by the fire, inviting you to daydream and rest.
Everything here is designed for your comfort and peace of mind.
A warm and discreet welcome: that is our motto!
Here, in this fully equipped room with en-suite shower room and separate entrance, you are at home.
Note also that, on request (and as an option), a dinner for two by the fire (seafood platter, wine, champagne and dessert) can be served to you... enough to complete your romantic evening.
Located in the commune of Bernières-sur-Mer, some 600 metres from the beach in the Canadian landing area, you will be charmed by this peaceful place surrounded by countryside and white stones steeped in history.
For those of you who are interested, note that this estate was temporarily used as a field hospital on the day of the landing, taking in wounded combatants without distinction, whether they were Canadians, British, Germans or simple civilians from the village.
The memory of these events remains in the form of a few temporary graves, a memory maintained by the persistence of the rosebushes planted by the owners shortly after the D-Day landings.
A story that we will be happy to tell you if you should ever ask us...
