This concert heralds the return of Soroush Kamalian, who appeared at Au Charbon in April 2025 for the evening reading dedicated to the poet Mawash Sabbeth, a special moment that left a deep impression on us all.

On Saturday 7 February, Soroush will be presenting his musical trio TÂK PROJECT, which he founded with two young Iranian musicians: Niyosha Abouali and Sepas Sadrenoori.

The word 'Tâk' means 'vine trunk' in Persian, an image that aptly reflects their artistic approach: drawing on cultural roots to create something new and vibrant.

Carried by Soroush Kamalian's kamancheh and the keyboards of Niyosha Abouali and Sepas Sadrenoori, the trio offers a fresh approach to Persian music, blending acoustic traditions, contemporary creation and electronic touches.

TÂK PROJECT performs regularly in France, notably in venues dedicated to jazz and world music.
