As part of the 17th edition of the "La semaine acadienne" festival, Acadian storyteller Marie-France Comeau (New Brunswick) will present her new story "Un bisou coquelicot" published by Bouton d'Or Acadie on August 13, on the importance of Remembrance Day in Canada and the meaning of the poppy Marie-France Comeau has already participated several times in the festival "La semaine acadienne". An event that is particularly dear to her heart: her father-in-law, Isidore Cormier, was part of the Acadian soldiers of the North Shore regiment of New Brunswick who landed on June 6, 1944 on Juno Beach to liberate Saint-Aubin-sur-mer.
