This ceremony will be preceded by a musical prelude at 3.45 p.m. and a collective moment of reflection at 3 p.m. at the Canadian military cemetery in Bény-Reviers.
The official dignitaries expected to attend have not yet been announced by the Landing Committee, which is organizing the ceremony.
A ceremony dedicated to children will also take place the day before, on June 5, 2026. It will bring together no fewer than 400 elementary and middle school students from the town and surrounding area.

The last surviving member of the British commando unit, Dennis Donovan was only 20 years old when he landed at Langrune-sur-Mer in June 1944. A faithful participant in commemorative events and close to the local community, he passed away in December 2024.
