We invite you to stay in Cœur de Nacre, a small family-friendly destination north of Caen, on the Côte de Nacre and the Allied landing beaches.

How to reach your destination ?
- With your own vehicle, download the list of PRM parking spaces below
- By bus, with Accèocar : a transport service dedicated to people with reduced mobility. It operates on reservation and ensures your travel from your home to the destination of your choice within the limits of the regular lines of the Nomad Car regional network.
To benefit from the AccèoCar service, prior registration is required on presentation of a valid Mobility Inclusion Card.
To use the AccèoCar service, you must first register by presenting a valid Mobility Inclusion card.
Reservations must be made no later than 4 p.m. the day before the service (on Friday for travel on Monday, or on the last working day in the case of public holidays) by calling the call center at 02 22 55 00 10 (open Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.) or by sending an email to : resa-tad-nomad@normandie.fr
The call center will always confirm the pick-up time with the user by text message, phone, or email the day before the service (working day).
The dykes and accessible beaches of the Côte de Nacre, between Courseulles-sur-Mer and Luc-sur-Mer

The sea walls at Courseulles-sur-Mer, Bernières-sur-Mer, Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer, Langrune-sur-Mer, and Luc-sur-Mer are all accessible.
They are also equipped with a Tiralo (a wheelchair adapted for use in the sea) for swimming.
Please note that Tiralo wheelchairs are available from the lifeguard stations, which are only open during the summer school holidays.
Luc-sur-Mer
- The seawall is accessible with assistance (steep slope) from the parking lot (Casino, Beau Rivage Hotel) to the seawall,
- A Tiralo (a wheelchair adapted for use in the sea) is available free of charge at the main lifeguard station on the seawall (between the casino and the clock) in July and August,
- Disabled parking (casino, Beau Rivage Hotel) and disabled toilets are available on the seawall.
Langrune-sur-Mer – Beach with accessibility certification
- Accessible seawall with assistance (steep slope) from the parking lot (Place du 6 Juin) to the seawall,
- Parking and accessible restrooms at Place du 6 Juin,
- Accessible changing room available free of charge in July and August next to the lifeguard station,
- A Tiralo (a wheelchair adapted for use in the sea) is available free of charge at the lifeguard station on the seawall in July and August. There is also a 10-meter floor mat accessible from the upper and lower seawalls, directly from the lifeguard station slipway.
Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer
- Accessible seawall and easy beach access,
- A Tiralo wheelchair is available free of charge at the lifeguard station on the seawall in July and August. There is also a 10-meter accessible ramp, directly accessible from the Menteux slipway (slipway located west of the Tourist Office),
- Parking and accessible restrooms (opposite the Le Saint-Aubin hotel).
Bernières-sur-Mer – Bathing area certified by Tourisme et Handicap (Tourism and Disability)
- Accessible seawall,
- Polymer mat for accessing the water,
- Free use of the Handymer room, upon reservation,
- Disabled parking nearby (Place North Nova Scotia, Place du 6 juin).
Focus on the Handymer room, fully adapted for people with disabilities :

This space is perfectly adapted for four types of disabilities, allowing users to bathe and then change with complete peace of mind.
The accessible room in Bernières-sur-Mer is very well equipped : adapted toilet and shower, medical bed, microwave, refrigerator, etc.
It can be reserved in advance, free of charge, through the AVIE association or the town hall.

Courseulles-sur-Mer
- Accessible seawall,
- A Tiralo wheelchair to enjoy the sea bathing is available free of charge at the lifeguard station on the seawall near the swimming pool in July and August. There is also a 10-meter floor mat accessible from the slipway next to the municipal swimming pool,
- Disabled parking : Place du 6 Juin and in front of the tourist office,
- Disabled toilets : on the seawall, near the municipal swimming pool in Courseulles-sur-Mer.
