On Mondays throughout the summer, Luc-sur-Mer Town Hall invites you to enjoy a convivial aperitif and concert starting at 6.45pm on Monday 8 July in the grounds of the Town Hall.

Every Monday, the group changes: French songs, swing, rock, jazz… there’s something for everyone.

Don’t miss the night market organised on Mondays throughout the summer in the rue de la Mer in Luc-sur-Mer from 6pm to 10pm.

Musical Fridays

In Langrune-sur-Mer, other concerts are held in the Bois Joli park on Tuesday evenings throughout the summer, starting at 6.30pm.

Every Thursday during the summer, from 11 July, the municipality of Luc-sur-Mer invites you to enjoy a concert by the sea.

Comfortably seated at a table in the restaurant l’Inéluctable or the Maison Mer, enjoy the show from 9pm.

  • Luc-sur-Mer : 13 July, torchlight procession at 9.30pm then fireworks at 11pm, beach and 10 August at 10.30pm (beach),
  • Langrune-sur-Mer : 14 July picnic with concert by the Dubois brothers at 8pm and sale of lanterns followed by fireworks at 11pm (beach) and on 12 August concert in the Bois Joli park at 8.30pm with Thierry Hel followed by fireworks at 11pm (beach),
  • Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer : 24 July at 10.30pm (beach),
  • Bernières-sur-Mer : 14 July at 11pm (beach). This fireworks display brings to a close the Bernières festival held over the weekend of 13 and 14 July,
  • Courseulles-sur-Mer : 13 July and 14 August with DJ night from 9pm and fireworks at 11pm (beach).

For its 4th edition, Aubin Festival invites you to the beach at Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer on 27 July, from 5pm to 3am.

This festival, which mixes rap and electronic music, is preparing a programme featuring around ten artists.

There will also be a village featuring a range of exhibitors (awareness-raising, clothing, associations, etc.).

Food trucks will also be on hand.

Sea festival, Courseulles-sur-Mer

Over the weekend, come and enjoy a host of maritime events to celebrate our Normandy coastline and pay tribute to sailors.

On the programme :

  • Numerous stands,
  • Activities for children, including the pirate ship and its 20m zip line,
  • Musical aperitif and picnic on Saturday 3 August (registration required at the Town Hall),
  • Musical entertainment on Sunday 4 August with the pipe band from Vannes,
  • Tribute to fallen sailors on Sunday 4 August,
  • Visit to the boats,
  • Photo exhibition.

Presented by French presenter Jérôme Anthony, this show offers an unforgettable plunge into the musical world of the 80s.

Leading performers from the 80s take to the stage for a 100% live show.

Guests include : Partenaire Particulier, Bibie, David & Jonathan, Pauline Ester, Philippe Cataldo, Début de soirée by Sacha, Gold by Alain Llorca.

Festival la Semaine Acadienne (Acadian Week festival)


August, 7 and 15

This popular festival pays tribute to the Acadian soldiers who landed on the beaches of Normandy on 6 June 1944.

It also celebrates the vitality of Acadia today.

The festival offers a rich programme : concerts (Diane Tell…), the great show “La libération autour de la guitare” created by Jean Félix Lalanne with Michael Jones and 8 other musicians, commemorative ceremonies, a themed day “Life at the time of the D-Day Landings” with a parade of military vehicles, dance shows and demonstrations, documentary screenings, a historical walking tour, a memorial exhibition… not forgetting the great tintamarre on 15 August.

Every year, the town council sets up a reconstruction of an old fish stall on the beach, just as it was in the 19th century.

A tasting of mussels and grilled fish is offered, accompanied by a concert.

On the programme for the day’s festivities :

  • Procession from the church, followed by mass at 10.30am
  • Parade of decorated floats on the theme of D-Day and the Olympic Games, starting at 3.30pm.
  • Musical entertainment from the 40s and 50s, Place du 6 juin until 5pm.
  • Large picnic open to all from 7pm, followed by a festive concert with Cocktail Passion.

Combining a day of free water sports activities for all on the beach with an open-air music festival that goes on until the end of the night.

Saoticot Festival

With free admission, the aim is to offer a multi-disciplinary, inter-generational festival open to all.

A variety of musical experiences (rock, soul, electronic music, world music, jazz, etc.) and shows of all kinds (street theatre, dance, etc.) will be on the bill, promoting local art as much as possible and giving priority to artists from Normandy.

Creative workshops and games will also be on the programme for all those interested.

Inspired by American urban competitions, the public will be up close and personal with the competitors in a crazy atmosphere.

Participants perform their best tricks.

For all you board sports fans, don’t miss the weekly events at the Courseulles-sur-Mer skatepark every Saturday until 24 August, from 2pm to 5pm, with our experts Guillaume and Valentin. They’ll be on hand to guide and help you on your skateboard, rollerblades, scooter and more !

  • Luc-sur-Mer : Monday evenings, with an aperitif and concert in the grounds of the town hall,
  • Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer : Tuesday evenings, followed by a concert on the bandstand.

Courseulles-sur-Mer is also offering a craft and local produce market on Sunday 21 July and Sunday 18 August. Place du Marché, 10am-7pm.
