D-Day Festival Normandy 2026: Celebrate Freedom!
From 31 May to 15 June

The D-Day Festival Normandy returns for a memorable edition from 31 May to 15 June 2026!
This unifying event takes place at the historic D-Day landing sites: Utah Beach, Omaha Beach, Gold Beach, Juno Beach and Sword Beach, as well as in Bayeux and Caen.
Around 6 June, come and celebrate regained freedom with a packed programme of events for all ages: parachute drops, WWII vehicle parades, military camp re-enactments, liberation balls, swing and jazz concerts.

La Berniéraise 2026: 12th edition on Juno Beach

The 11th edition of La Berniéraise will take place in June 2026 in Bernières-sur-Mer, right on the historic site of Juno Beach!
This major event on the Côte de Nacre celebrates the arrival of Canadian troops in 1944 and pays tribute to the values of Freedom and Peace.
This is an opportunity to experience a significant moment in the history of the Normandy landings.
Save the date for this unique nautical race that peacefully celebrates the spirit of D-Day on the waves of Liberty!
Grilled fish and mussels tasting
Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer, from early July to late August, beach and seawall

Volunteers prepare small plates of grilled fish, to be shared with family and friends, facing the sea and with your feet in the sand.
Festive and musical entertainment punctuates the event.
Activities for children and teenagers at the skatepark
Courseulles-sur-Mer, every Saturday from April to August, 2pm to 5pm

For all board sports fans, don’t miss the weekly events at the Courseulles-sur-Mer skatepark, located on Rue de la Libération.
Join us on Saturday afternoons for a chat with 2 experts, who will be on hand to advise you on how to get the most out of your skateboard or rollerblades.
Please note : in the event of rain, the skatepark is not passable, so the event will be cancelled.

From 7 to 15 August 2026, Côte de Nacre

Don’t miss the 21st edition of Acadian Week, the must-see event for Acadian culture.
This unique event pays tribute to the Acadian soldiers of 6 June 1944 and celebrates the richness of Acadia today.
On the programme: concerts, commemorations, documentary screenings, dance, musical theatre, historical walks on Juno Beach, and the Juno Coastal Run.

Xsmoz Festival: Get ready for the most electrifying event of the summer

Xsmoz : Get ready for a doubly exciting event on the Côte de Nacre!
Come and enjoy a day of free water sports activities on Saint-sur-Mer beach, open to all.
As night falls, the atmosphere becomes electric with an outdoor music festival.
An amazing lineup awaits you, so you can dance the night away! It’s the perfect combination of sports and partying.
Saoticot Festival
Langrune-sur-Mer, August 21 and 22, 2026

For this 5th edition, the festival returns with a variety of musical experiences and performances of all kinds (street theater, dance…).
The event features local art and artists from Normandy.
Creative workshops and games are also on the program:
Fishing port and traditions festival
Courseulles-sur-Mer, a weekend in August
The town offers a weekend event dedicated to the port and its maritime traditions.
On Saturday evening, enjoy a DJ party and a fireworks display on the sea wall.

Courseulles American Freestyle
Courseulles-sur-Mer, Sunday, August 2026, at the skatepark rue de la Libération

It’s the place to be for riders.
Inspired by American urban competitions, the public and competitors move from module to module (downhill rail, bowl, etc.).
Rollerblades, skateboards, BMX, competitors of all levels can put on a show.
A judge will award points for the best tricks.
