A manga workshop with Loui at the media centre!

The media centre is hosting Loui, author of the Red Flower series, for a manga drawing workshop aimed at children aged 10 to 14.

After a discussion about his career as a mangaka, Loui will offer an introduction (or a refresher) to the visual conventions of manga: proportions, facial expressions, the basics of character design and creating a simple character.

Loui is a Franco-Ghanaian author whose work blends Japanese influences with ancestral storytelling. His Red Flower series, a fusion of shonen adventure and African oral traditions, stands out for its originality and ambition. He regularly engages with young audiences in France and internationally.
