On 8 August 2026, we'll be delighted to welcome the great Louisiana Cajun artist Louis Michot to the Square des Canadiens in Saint-AUbin-sur-mer. Louis Michot is best known as the fiddler and lead singer of the two-time Grammy Award-winning Lost Bayou Ramblers, but his passion for Louisiana French and local folklore is the driving force behind his music. With over 20 albums to his credit, his musical career continues to push the boundaries of French Louisiana musical traditions. Rêve du Troubadour, Louis Michot's first solo album, was released in the autumn of 2023. Special guests on these recordings include Nigerian Tuareg guitar wizard Bombino and critically acclaimed singer and cellist Leyla McCalla, among others. Known as a violinist, Michot mainly plays guitar, bass, T'fer (triangle), samplers, percussion and accordion. In 2025, he released a 2nd album entitled SEAUXLEAUX
