Apasionado quartet (passionate quartet) was born in the summer of 2024. Comprising Béatrice Mayo-Felip, François Chesnel, Jean-Michel Trotoux and Bernard Cochin, the group presents a repertoire that subtly blends jazz, tango, Spanish and Latin American music, as well as traditional melodies.

These four musicians, long-time friends and accomplices, are all well known and recognised on the French music scene. In this new project, they invite you to discover or rediscover famous or previously unpublished pieces, and once again demonstrate their great musicality, open-mindedness and obvious pleasure in playing together.

Apasionado quartet is the sweetness of a last kiss, the sad smile of a farewell without return, the embrace of a friend who supports us in our grief.
