Description

Between April and September, our guide Christelle offers you a guided tour of the port and oyster farming history of Courseulles-sur-mer.

During this walk and in her company, you will walk step by step along the western quays and the Labrèques brothers' quays, until you reach the Ile de Plaisance at the level of the Oyster Park, the finishing point of the tour.

This journey through time will take you back to the 17th century, an important period for the economic development of the town. Between nature, fishing and traditions, this commented walk of approximately two hours will reveal to you a Courseulles as you have never seen it before; the vision of a Courseulles of the past that will no longer hold any secrets for you.

At the end of the visit, it is certain that you will have a different view of the different pictures painted by the guide. If you have a sweet tooth, you may be offered an oyster tasting on arrival at the oyster beds.

So, if you are a lover of local produce, don't hesitate to book this special moment with the guide at the start of the tour.
