Description

In this one-day workshop, Nadège Locoge, herbalist, and Isabelle Aureau, yoga teacher and writing workshop leader, take you on a journey of the body, the senses, philosophy, science and poetry.

Designed around exercises in curiosity about living things, both human and non-human, this workshop is a proposed contribution to resolving the "crisis of sensitivity to the living" formulated by philosopher Baptiste Morizot.

How and why do a yoga teacher and an herbalist form an alliance?

What do they have to say and share that makes two seemingly distant practices compatible, one centered on postures and movements experienced from a human body, the other dedicated to the knowledge of plants and their properties?

What can we do with the emotions that run through us when faced with our fellow human beings? loss of sensitivity and curiosity about the living world?

Because they are both moved by the artificialization of landscapes, because they are both moved by the beauty of the world, by a sunset splashing the sky in pinks and purples, by a carpet of wild orchids unfurling their shapes and forms, by the beauty of the world, by the beauty of the world, by a sunset splashing the sky in pinks and purples, by a carpet of wild orchids unfurling their shapes and forms, by the beauty of the worldbecause they are both moved by the beauty of the world, by a sunset splashing the sky with pinks and purples, by a carpet of wild orchids unfurling their enchanting forms on the banks of our villages, by the symphonic range of birdsong as a playlist in their ears, Nadège and Isabelle have decided to unite their words and their knowledge towards a common horizon that can contribute to paying respect to the world that made us and that never ceases to amaze us.

This workshop invites you to encounter the dandelion, a common and familiar plant in the local ecosystem, but with the intention of giving it such full and undivided attention that it acquires a halo of density and radiance.

It will take place on Friday May 16 from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. in Colomby-Anguerny.

On the program: bodywork, observation exercises, botany and medicinal properties, dandelion preparation (cyanotype and balm making), reading and writing workshop

You'll leave with your creations of the day, an illustrated booklet containing essential information on the plant, recipes, poetic and philosophical reflections and a complete bibliography to keep you going if you feel like it.

Price: to be divided between the two instructors, including practice, booklet to take home and materials for plant-based preparations
