The Marais du Platon forms part of the former bed of the River Seulles, at the river’s mouth where the port of Bernières once stood. It was this port that brought wealth to Bernières: the church and the remarkable heritage site. As part of Heritage Days, the tour sets off from the Quintefeuille Listed Site and goes on to explore the Marais du Platon and the coastline.
