Description

Arnaud Guérin, geologist, naturalist, author and professional photographer will present an exhibition entitled "La Plage, une Nature Cachée".

For over 25 years, Arnaud Guérin has traveled the world, camera in hand, capturing the raw splendor of nature. His passion for the Earth and nature first manifested itself in the study of volcanoes, before extending to marine and coastal ecosystems. As a scientific mediator, he uses photography as a genuine tool for raising awareness, arousing strong emotions and revealing the often little-known treasures of our planet.

La Plage, une Nature Cachée (The Beach, Hidden Nature): rediscover a familiar environment from April 12 to the end of August, outdoors on the promenade

This exhibition, in partnership with the Conservatoire du Littoral, the Bird and Nature Festival, Montier Festival Photo and Scenolia Lab, explores the beach, that fragile frontier between land and sea. Much more than a simple leisure space, the beach is a dynamic ecosystem, revealing climate change and variations in sea level. The exhibition asks: why are some beaches made of sand and others of pebbles? How do coastal plants resist salt? Much more than an exhibition, a discovery...
