The complicity between man and horse goes back to ancient times, and today, as in the past, their links remain as close as ever. This is particularly true in Calvados, a privileged land for horse breeding. Although horses no longer play as important a role in daily life and the organization of work as they once did, they have taken on a new role in sporting activities, racing and leisure pursuits, generating numerous direct and indirect jobs of great importance to our economy. These 10 panels will help you discover over two hundred years of the history and heritage of the horse trades in Calvados.

Prior to the show, the Cikawa company will be offering children (aged 4 and over) four workshops: juggling, trapeze, acrobatics and pony acts.

Resolutely funny? The Cirkawa will offer you its burlesque universe to tell its story of the birth of the Circus and Equestrian Art. Small horses, juggling, acrobatics, trapeze, clowning...

Interactive show ? Come on in, the show's about to start. Your children will even be asked to assist us in our demonstrations, and can marvel at how to make a horse stand or sit.
