Description

A must-attend event on sustainable and solidarity-based food The ALIMENTERRE festival was launched in 2007 in a Paris cinema.

Since then, it has become an international event on sustainable and solidarity-based food organized every year from October 15 to November 30. Through a selection of documentary films, it encourages citizens to learn about and understand agricultural and food issues in France and around the world, so that they can participate in the co-construction of sustainable, solidarity-based food systems and the right to food.

For this 8th edition, the AlimenTERRE Festival, organized by the Comité Français pour la Solidarité Internationale (CFSI), with Horizons Solidaires for Normandy, will be hosted on the Côte de Nacre, in Bernières-sur-Mer, Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer, Ouistreham Riva-Bella, Courseulles-sur-Mer, Hermanville-sur-Mer, Langrune-sur-Mer, Douvres-la-Délivrande and Lion-sur-Mer.

L'Association Familiale de Douvres, COOP Bio Nacre, Bernières chances, Lion Environnement, Langrune en Commun, Terre de liens, GoElan, Kiamvu le pont, Codeko, Bioseulles, Land Growan au pied du mur, Terre Happy, Hermanville-sur-Mer town council, with the support of the Mairies of Douvres la Délivrande, Saint Aubin-sur-Mer, Bernières-sur-Mer, Courseulles-sur-Mer, Lion-sur-Mer, Langrune-sur-Mer, the CC Coeur de Nacre, and anysetiers de Normandie, are organizing nine debate evenings dedicated to the festival.
